Marilyn Airmont

LCSWA, LCASA

I am a therapist whose passion is to create a safe space for English and Spanish speaking individuals who are seeking mental health services. I recognize that it can feel like traditional and therapeutic spaces do not consider how an individual is raised and how they think. There may be confusion in the society about values that are not in congruence with yours, making it difficult to feel seen and heard. Healing can occur in multiple ways: through community, education, personal expression, or therapy. My approach focuses on creating a therapeutic space that is free of judgment and oppressive values.

I have enjoyed working with kids, teens, adults, couples, and the elderly populations with challenging situations. These issues include adjustment problems, finding resources in the community, and psychotherapy addressing anxiety, depression, addictions, and others. I strive to create a partnership that cultivates your vision of who you want to be.

No matter your motivation to look for therapy, we will move to a place that feels comfortable for you that is of free judgment. We will explore your stressors and work together to support your liberation and healing. Most importantly, I will offer you counsel and support that aims to empower you in your journey of healing.
